Australian Bollards is very proud to have collaborated with the City of Frankston to ensure public safety and security. We have installed and supplied products to the Frankston Arts Centre, The Frankston Hoyts Cinema and Frankston Train Station.
Frankston Arts Centre (FAC) is a renowned inclusive venue that welcomes people of all abilities. One of Australia’s leading arts centres, it comprises of theatre, galleries, creative arts hub and a function centre. The FAC is one of the largest outer metropolitan arts venues in Australia, designed by famous Australian architect Daryl Jackson and opened by the former Prime Minister Paul Keating. The FAC is well known for its long history of commitment to community through cultural development and promotion of mental health awareness and wellbeing through the arts. With over 250,000 visitors throughout the year, including school children groups, Australian Bollards provided the highest quality, high impact designer bollards to safeguard the public from unwanted vehicle intrusions.
Surfaced mounted, powdered grey, designer bollards have been installed around the vicinity, expertly placed to ensure public safety, installed by Australian Bollards. These custom made designer bollards are strategically placed to deter Hostile Vehicle Mitigation.
Australian Bollards has also supplied Electronic Display Screens (EDS) to the Frankston Arts Centre carpark. Our EDS-43 are a Parking Guidance and Information (PGI) system, providing drivers with dynamic information on parking within the carpark.
It can be used to provide information about the rates of the carpark, as well as information on vacant parking spaces. This screens can also be used as a Variable Message System (VMS) that efficiently delivers real time road information to drivers. The EDS-43 has an inbuilt computer that can be accessed remotely.
Around the corner at Frankston Hoyts, we’ve also installed high impact stainless steel bollards along the foot paths surrounding the entrance, ensuring pedestrian and vehicle safety against Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) and Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIED).
These bollards are high impact, subsurface mounted, key lockable and removable.
Further down the road at Frankston Train Station, Australian Bollards has supplied products to upgrade the stations pedestrian safety, ensuring ease of mind when catching the train at this busy station.
We have installed Australian Bollards’ Pedestrian Gate upon entrance to platforms and Bump Rails around the platform seating areas.
