Sited at Bentleigh Station
by: Australian Bollards on
The team from Australian Handrails is officially onsite at the revamp of Bentleigh Station, marking the beginning of metal works on the project ranging from handrailing and balustrading to perforated panelling.
Excavation began earlier this year at Bentleigh, which along with fellow Frankston line stations Ormond and McKinnon, is part of the Andrews Government’s Level Crossing Removal masterplan, a scheme designed to rid Victoria of 50 dangerous crossings by 2022.
The Australian Handrails crew will join a host of workers from an assortment of other companies, including John Holland, Geotechnical Engineering and Coleman Rail, who have been working around the clock to make this venture possible.
With Australian Handrails officially on the job, you can expect the improvements at Bentleigh Station to come thick and fast.
