Ram-Raid spree hits Blackburn
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, there has been yet another ram raid attack at a Melbourne Shopping centre.
Blackburn North shopping centre in the eastern suburbs was the latest target where intruders too easily forced entry into the unattended premises.
CCTV footage shows the masked culprits peer through the building windows before ram-raiding the entrance with a four-wheel drive.
Much like the previous recent shopping centre ram-raids we have reported on, the culprits entered the building with little structural resistance from the building and got away without being caught.
All entrance ways at shopping centre should be protected by bollards as criminals are finding the centres to be very easy targets.
Due to the culprits getting away every time, it is unclear whether it is the same offenders making their way around Melbourne or not.
Australian Bollards specialise in tailoring solutions to prevent such attacks and have installed many bollard solutions in response to ram-raid attacks.
Last week we installed some bollards at Watervale shopping centre where a ram raid attack occurred about a month ago and we are now working with Williams Landing shopping centre where two ram-raids occurred in the space of a week a short time ago.
