Planting the seeds of safety with designer bollards

Australian Bollards is excited to announce we’re part of the National Gallery of Victoria’s NGV Architecture Commission, pitching a garden of artisan products.
2018 is the Commission’s fourth year. Hundreds of architects compete to display their engaging work in the NGV grotto for six months. The installations are made to immerse visitors in an interactive environment, something that Australian Bollards’ soft approach range does best.
Melbourne is famed worldwide for its art and cutting-edge architecture. The competition will display Australia’s elite artisanship to Melbourne in one of its most celebrated relaxation spots.
In its range of Designer items, Australian Bollards is proud to combine artistic talent with VBIED protection and crowd safety. The Vanguard is a shining example of a soft approach to hard security, a handsome granite sphere that adds light and colour to its environment.
The Banksia allows natural beauty to protect the public. Styled around an iconic Australian plant, this bollard adds gentle illumination and a stylish atmosphere to exposed areas. Its parkland aesthetic offers a customisable range of light colours.
Vanguard spherical bollards mimic the ages-old rock of Australian cliffs, in colours of rich earth.
The bronze Wall St bollard completes the garden of features, a postmodern shape that gives a space new and interesting angles.
The competition can expect to attract a legendary lineup of artisans and architects and we are proud to be involved.
