Maximum Car Park Protection at St. Helena ELC
by: NJM Group Marketing on
St. Helena Early Learning Centre in Greensborough is committed to upgrading its safety equipment in order to comply with the Australian Government’s National Quality Frameworks (NQF). The first objective of the NQF ensures the safety, health and wellbeing of children attending education and care services.
More recently, the Centre has upgraded its features to add a Bollard Barrier Guard, or commonly known as Car Park Crash Railing in the industry, in their car park just behind a wheel stop to ensure maximum protection for vehicles on the brink of going over and preventing a potential ram into the property. There is also a bollard installed for disabled users indicating a ‘safety zone’ next to the disabled-and-wheelchair-user car parking spot.

With the rise in reckless driving, unsafe car parking and potential hazards that may affect children, St. Helena Early Learning Centre opted for a RHINO Security Fencing-Crash Rail System in late September to protect vehicles parking on a level above the main road. This car park crash railing system is our latest innovation in car-park guardrail safety barrier systems, and its main feature is a W-Beam Guardrail and an anti-climb mesh balustrade protecting the edges, preventing pedestrians, patrons and children from the Childcare Centre falling over the edge.
