Intercom Bollards – An Innovative solution for Collins Square

by: NJM Group Marketing on

In early March of this year, the $2.5 billion Collins Square development was officially completed. Considered to be one of the largest commercial mixed-use developments in Australia, Collins Square consists of five commercial office buildings that crosses an entire city block.

The Collins Square Tower 5, designed by architecture firm Woods Bagot, features several innovative design elements and reaches 117 metres in height, with a span of 33-levels. The tower also features high-quality office space that includes an architectural curved curtain wall façade which provides a light-filled spacious office floor plate.

Our company strives to deliver a high standard of services, high quality products and continuous improvement services with our access control solutions, based on your requirements. We offer services that meet Australian standards to provide ongoing support to our clients.

Intercom bollards for example, would be a great way to add security to the Collins Square Tower 5. Here at Australian Bollards, we offer a wide range of Intercom Bollards that are customisable. These bollards can also be engineered to meet PAS 68 standards as well as IWA 14-1, K4, and M30 vehicle security barrier standards to protect your building. They complement any security system installed at the front entry/exit paths in any office facility and can also be installed in any home or commercial facility.

They can be fabricated to accommodate a range of devices and appliances. These include intercoms, control points, help points and power outlets.

Our pedestrian height Intercom Bollards are extremely strong and the most industrial grade type in the market. Intercom Bollards are also spaced to allow wheelchair access, which can be operated by wheelchair users, as required for DDA compliance.

The Intercom can be operated by the user through a headset or monitor attached to the Intercom. Once the user has been granted authority, he/she can then press the buzzer to release a door strike or electric locking device.

The Intercom selection ranges from both DDA Compliant (Act 2005) and Architecturally Designed Bollards.
