Car mounts busy footpath at Boston Airport

It can happen to anyone, a momentary lapse in concentration and you accidently step on the accelerator instead of the brake.
This was the case for a Boston Taxi driver who’s out of control vehicle left ten people in hospital with injuries of varying severity.
The driver jumped the kerb at Boston Airport and struck fellow taxi drivers awaiting their next customers.
If the walkway was protected with bollards, it would have been a very different story.
Instead of being in hospital, those ten injured cabbies would just have had a story to tell their families when they returned home safe about the car that lost control in front of them.
At a heavily visited area such as an airport, the street scape range would provide a great solution giving a soft approach to hard security.
And with VBIED protection across a range of solutions, street scape or otherwise, the building front and foot path would remain very protected from vehicles that stray from the road.
