A Green Solution to Traffic Congestion
by: NJM Group Marketing on
The City of Darebin has indicated a massive crackdown on cars, proposing to remove all-day parking in streets within 400 metres of train stations on the Mernda and Hurstbridge line. Car parks will not be affected, however parking near these 11 stations between Northcote and Reservoir will now only be able for two-hours. This is to deter people from driving their car to the train station and leaving them there all day. The council wants to encourage people to ride bikes instead, as these areas are becoming over congested.
A great way for locals to keep their bikes safe is with our Ned Kelly Bike Shelter range; a green solution to traffic problems. Our bike storage solutions help keep our roads and environment safe and unpolluted. We have a firm belief in protection, for both people and our environment.
Our Ned Kelly Bike Shelter is a fully closed shelter, providing optimum protection for cyclists and bikes from the elements. They are best suited for long day parking and help keep bikes safe. The bike shelters can fit up to 30 bikes enclosed, with several bike rack options; Ned Kelly, Flat top, Hoop top and Key Shaped designer racks. In addition to the bike racks, there is a bike repair station in each shelter, so problems like basic maintenance is never an issue.
Our wall mounted Ned Kelly range allows for greater access and are ideal for maximising space. By storing the bike vertically, it frees up floor space, so you can access your bike more easily instead of awkwardly trying to get to your bike. An efficient and minimising solution to bike congestion. These bike racks can be mounted onto a wall or a metal frame, depending on the surrounding space.
